JUPITER ISLAND — It’s official: Golfer Tiger Woods has made good on his divorce settlement agreement — and ex-wife Elin Nordegren has released the $54.5 million-mortgage she held on Woods’ Jupiter Island house until he was all paid up, according to records exclusively obtained by Gossip Extra.
Martin County records show Nordegren quietly released the mortgage in January, according to papers made public today.
And to add insult to injury, Elin personally signed the release — something that’s often done by lawyers!
It is estimated Nordegren, who recently turned up at International Polo Club Palm Beach with her occasional BF, billionaire Chris Cline, agreed to a $100 million-settlement in January 2010 after she caught the 4-times Masters winner cheating on her with numerous porn stars, waitresses and hostesses.
The only amount that turned up in public records, however, was a $54.5 million mortgage that Nordegren held on Woods’ sprawling beachfront property through JRD Florida Ventures LLC, a Virginia company whose manager is Nordegren.
