The Sun Will Make A Short-Lived Appearance Tuesday

short-livedSouth Florida will see more sun and fewer storms and showers on Tuesday, but the break will be short-lived.  Tuesday features sun and clouds to start, with showers and storms developing in the afternoon hours.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the low 90s, but it will feel like the triple digits.

Showers and storms will be back on Wednesday, especially in the east coast metro area.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the low 90s.

Look for even more showers and storms on Thursday, especially in the east coast metro area.  Thursday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.

Heaviest shower and storm activity will shift to the Gulf coast and the interior on Friday, but the eastern part of our area will see periods of rain as well.  Friday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.

Faith Based Events

Saturday looks to be another day of storms and showers.  Highs on Saturday will be near 90 degrees.

The tropical Atlantic remains quiet.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
