In an age where speeding things up tends to be the norm, Hasbro Gaming is making a big move toward slowing things down. Way down.

Monopoly, often viewed by players as a game that “takes forever,” has become the subject of countless new editions in recent years. Within the past year alone, Hasbro has released Ms. MonopolyMonopoly Voice Banking, and licensed versions centered around Hallmark Channel, Sonic the Hedgehog, Stranger Things, Marvel’s Avengers, L.O.L. Surprise!, and more. Just in time for Thanksgiving weekend, Monopoly: Longest Game Ever arrives from out of nowhere, launching exclusively on Amazon with free same-day delivery in some locations.

In Monopoly: Longest Game Ever, players ages 8 and up will take turns using just one die, so there’s absolutely no chance of rolling doubles. The board features a whopping 66 properties — three of each location — and the game doesn’t end until one player owns every single property. Tokens include the tortoise and hare, and even bankruptcy won’t get a player out of the game. The new rules allow players to rip the bills in half along the dotted line to use throughout the game.

There is no word yet on how long a round is expected to last.

[A check of Amazon Tuesday says “SOLD OUT”, but you can request an email when they restock. We also check Ebay, where one set was on sale for a whopping $152!].
