The 3 S’s – Saturday Showers and Storms

By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Oct. 10, 2015 –
South Florida will see showers and storms on Saturday afternoon, but pleasant weather is finally on the horizon. After a few quick showers on Saturday morning, look for building clouds, highs near 90 degrees, and plenty of afternoon showers with a few storms in spots. Sunday will bring some early showers, but a front will finally clear out the moisture late in the afternoon, and highs will top off in the upper 80s. Columbus Day will be pleasant, with morning lows near 70 degrees, sun and clouds, and highs in the mid 80s. We’ll see just a stray shower Tuesday through Thursday, and highs will be mostly in the mid 80s. Moisture will creep back into the area on Friday, which features periods of passing showers and highs in the mid to upper 80s.
