Sunday features a cool morning, followed by lots of sun during the day and a few late night showers on the mainland.  A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the Atlantic beaches.  Highs on Sunday will be mostly in the upper-70s on the mainland and the mid-70s in the Keys.

Monday will bring morning lows in the 60s on the mainland.  Look for some sun, more clouds, and periods of showers and storms as a front moves in.  Showers and a few storms will linger into the evening.  Monday’s highs will be in the mid-70s.

Tuesday morning will feature lows in the low to mid-60s on the mainland.  The day will see good sun and some clouds on the mainland, and the East Coast metro area will also see a few showers at times.  Look for sunny skies in the Keys.  Tuesday’s highs will be mostly in the mid-70s.

Wednesday will start with lows in the upper-50s and low-60s on the mainland.  Then look for lots of sun and a few clouds.  Wednesday’s highs will be mostly in the upper-70s in the East Coast metro area and mostly in the mid-70s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Faith Based Events

Thursday’s forecast calls for another cool morning, followed by sunny skies along the Gulf Coast and a nice mix of sun and clouds in the East Coast metro area.  Look for plenty of clouds and a few showers in the Keys.  Highs on Thursday will be near 80 degrees in the East Coast metro area, in the upper-70s along the Gulf Coast, and the Keys.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
