Sunday Rains, Colder Temps

Sunday morning

By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Jan. 3, 2016 – South Florida will be rainy on Sunday afternoon and evening, and then we’ll see some of the coldest air in quite a while. After starting Sunday morning with lows in the upper 60s and low 70s, the day will feature clouds, periods of showers on a building breeze, and highs in the upper 70s.

Sunday EveningThe showers will continue Sunday night and linger into a cool Monday morning with lows mostly in the low 60s. Temperatures will stay in the 60s most of the day, finally topping out in the low 70s.

Tuesday morning lows will range from the low 50s well inland to the low 60s right at the coast. We’ll warm into the mid 70s Tuesday afternoon, but moisture will also return, so some showers are back in the forecast.

Wednesday will be cloudy and showery, and highs will be in the mid 70s. Look for fewer showers and highs in the upper 70s on Thursday.
