Sun And Showers Are In Today’s Forecast

forecastSun and showers are in the forecast for South Florida on Monday as more moisture begins to work its way into the area. After a warm and sticky morning, Monday features a mix of sun and clouds, with a few passing showers and maybe an isolated storm in the afternoon, most likely in the far western suburbs. Highs on Monday will be near 90 degrees.

Rain chances go up on Tuesday, and we’ll see plenty of clouds, passing showers, and some storms, especially inland. Tuesday’s highs will be in the low 90s.

Wednesday will bring some early showers, periods of sun and clouds, and some afternoon storms in spots. Highs on Wednesday will be near 90 degrees.

Some sun, more clouds, periods of showers, and afternoon storms are on tap for Thursday. Thursday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 80s.

Faith Based Events

Look for clouds, showers, and some storms on Friday. Highs on Friday will be in the upper 80s.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
