Thursday features a mix of sun, clouds, and afternoon showers in the east coast metro area, while the Gulf coast will see mostly sunny skies.  Look for clouds and some showers in the Keys.  An elevated risk of dangerous rip currents is in place at the Atlantic beaches on Thursday and through the weekend.  Highs on Thursday will be near 80 degrees on the mainland and in the upper 70s in the Keys.

Friday will bring more clouds than sun, and showers will be around in the east coast metro area and the Keys.  Friday’s highs will be in the upper 70s.

Saturday will feature partly sunny skies and a few showers and storms in the east coast metro area.  The Gulf coast will be mostly sunny in the morning, but some showers will develop in the afternoon.  Look for clouds and showers to linger in the Keys.  Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 70s.

Sunday will be on the cloudy side with periods of showers.  A few early storms are possible in the east coast metro area.  Sunday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 70s, with a few suburban locations reaching 80 degrees.

Faith Based Events

Monday’s forecast calls for good sun and some clouds around South Florida.  The east coast metro area will also see a few showers.  Highs on Monday will be near 80 degrees in the east coast metro area and mostly in the mid 70s along the Gulf coast and in the Keys.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
