Sun, Clouds, and Maybe a Shower

Tuesday features more clouds than sun with a shower in spots in the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast and the Keys will see good sun with a few clouds.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the upper-70s at the Atlantic coast and the Keys, while the rest of South Florida will top out in the low-80s.

Wednesday will bring more clouds than sun and a gusty breeze to the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast will be mostly sunny with a gusty breeze.  Look for a nice mix of sun and clouds in the Keys.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the low-80s.

Thursday will feature some sun but more clouds and a gusty breeze in the East Coast metro area, while the Gulf Coast will see good sun and a few clouds on a gusty breeze as a front moves in.  Look for a mix of sun and clouds in the Keys.  Thursday’s highs will be in the upper-70s in the East Coast metro area, the mid-70s along the Gulf Coast, and the Keys.

Friday will be off to a cool start, with lows in the mid-50s to near 60 degrees on the mainland and the mid-60s in the Keys.  The day will be mostly sunny with a cool and gusty breeze.  Friday’s highs will be in the mid-70s.

Faith Based Events

Saturday’s forecast calls for another cool morning, followed by more clouds than sun on the mainland and a mix of sun and clouds in the Keys.  Highs on Saturday will be in the mid-70s.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
