Summertime Sun And Storms

Summertime Sun
South Florida will see summertime sun and storms on Thursday, with ocean breezes pushing storms and showers westward.  The day starts with sun and an early east coast shower in spots.  Then we’ll see just a chance of a stray shower or storm in Miami-Dade and Broward as the Atlantic sea breeze and the arrival of drier air to our east will keep the activity in the interior and along the Gulf coast.  A moderate risk of dangerous rip currents is in place at the Atlantic beaches.  Highs on Thursday will be in the low 90s — but it will feel quite a bit hotter.
Friday will feature early sun and clouds, with a few scattered showers in the east coast metro area and more widespread showers and some storms to the west.  Friday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
The pattern continues on Saturday, with sun, clouds, and mostly interior and west coast showers and storms.  Saturday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
We’ll do it all again on Sunday, with sun, clouds, and mostly interior and Gulf coast showers and storms.  Sunday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Monday’s forecast includes sun, clouds, a few east coast showers and storms, and more widespread storms in the interior and Gulf coast locations.  Highs on Monday will be in the low 90s.
The tropics remain quiet.
