Summertime Heat And Tropical Activity

tropical

tropicalSouth Florida ends the month of July with typical summertime heat and some tropical activity to watch. We’ll see a few early showers followed by some mostly inland afternoon storms on Saturday as highs reach the low 90s.

Sunday will bring increased rain chances, including early showers and afternoon storms, and highs in the low 90s.

tropcalAlso this weekend, we’ll watch a fairly strong wave moving quickly toward the Caribbean. The National Hurricane Center gives it a low chance of development over the next few days.

We’ll begin August with a breezy Monday that features a few early showers, the possibility of an afternoon storm, and highs in the low 90s.

Faith Based Events

We’ll feel the effects of the wave as it passes to our south on Tuesday and Wednesday, so our weather will feature periods of showers and storms, breezy conditions, and highs in the upper 80s.

Elsewhere in the tropics, the National Hurricane Center gives the wave in the eastern Atlantic a medium chance of development over the next several days.
