Showers and storms will be around South Florida on Saturday, a prelude to a wetter week ahead. Saturday features morning passing morning showers and storms along with periods of sun. Afternoon storms will form along the sea breeze but will be most active well inland, where strong storms are possible. Highs on Saturday will be in the low 90s.

Monday will bring early showers and storms on the ocean breeze, with afternoon storms in the western suburbs and well inland. Monday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.

Tuesday will see some showers and storms, along with periods of sun. Tuesday’s highs will be mostly in the low 90s.

Look for lots of tropical moisture on Wednesday, with passing showers and storms throughout the day. Highs on Wednesday will be near 90 degrees.

What was Tropical Depression # 4 has degenerated into an open wave. The remnants will be pushed in our general vicinity in a few days, so we’ll keep an eye on it for any signs of redevelopment.
