Steamy With Showers

Wednesday features plenty of sun, a few clouds, and mostly afternoon showers with a few storms in spots.  Highs on Wednesday will be near 90 degrees.

Thursday will bring more showers and storms, breezy conditions in the east coast metro area, and periods of sun.  Look for an increasing risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches on Thursday, along with the possibility of minor coastal flooding at high tides.  Thursday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 80s.

Friday will feature a mix of sun, clouds, showers, and storms, and the east coast metro area will be breezy again.  Friday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

Look for showers and storms on Saturday, especially in the east coast metro area, but we’ll also have periods of sun.  Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

Sunday’s forecast includes periods of good sun alternating with showers and storms.  Highs on Sunday will be in the upper 80s again.

In the tropics, a wave is producing disorganized showers over the Yucatan.  The National Hurricane Center gives this feature a low chance of developing into a depression once it reaches the Bay of Campeche.
