Steamy And Stormy Again

steamy

South Florida will be steamy and stormy on Wednesday as our summerlike weather pattern continues. After another muggy start, look for passing showers and storms throughout the day. Strong storms are moving into southern and central metro Palm Beach County this morning.

Areas from Boca Raton to West Palm Beach can expect gusty winds to 50 mph and very heavy rain through 730 AM. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution during the morning rush hour.

Some of those storms could be strong, with periods of heavy rain, dangerous lightning, and damaging winds. Wednesday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

Thursday will see showers and storms (with strong storms possible again), but with some periods of sun as well. Highs will be in the upper 80s.

Friday will feature passing showers, some storms, and periods of sun, along with highs in the sticky upper 80s.

The weekend will be muggy, with highs near 90 degrees and afternoon storms in spots.
