Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg is scheduled to announce at an informal routine gathering with the local media tomorrow that his office will not prosecute Donald Trump‘s campaign manager for battery, Politico.com reports.
Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s campaign boss, was charged after he allegedly grabbed a female reporter during a busy campaign function at Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter.
Lewandowki was not arrested but was cited administratively by Jupiter PD, sort of like a traffic ticket.
Aronberg reportedly is set to announce tomorrow that his office won’t pursue the case, and the charge will be dropped.
The West Palm Beach out-of-town corporate media missed another story in their backyard and are playing catchup!
Former online political reporter Michelle Fields filed a complaint a month ago after Lewandowski was shown on video surveillance grabbing her by the arm and moving her out of Trump’s way.
