With all eyes on Puerto Rico as the island struggles to recover from Hurricane Maria, Latino stars are teaming up to host a telethon tonight in Miami and Los Angeles to raise money for all recent storm victims.
Marc Anthony, his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, her new boyfriend and former Yankee Alex Rodriguez and Spanish singer-songwriter Alejandro Sanz are scheduled to be on hand to lend their support for the cause.
Anthony will lead the Miami contingent, which will also include Sanz, Gente de Zona, Nicky Jam, Prince Royce, Romeo Santos, and Daddy Yankee. They will be appearing at Miami’s Marlins Park. Tickets are priced between $15 and $50.
Lopez, meanwhile, will be in Los Angeles with her new beau Rodriguez, as well as Ricky Martin, Demi Lovato, Gwen Stefani, Stevie Wonder and Jamie Foxx, among others. She had previously announced that she would be donating $1 million to help with recovery efforts in Puerto Rico.
