South Florida will see Afternoon Storms – Again !

By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Aug 12, 2015 – Afternoon storms are in store for South Florida on Wednesday. After a mostly quiet morning on the mainland (but with storms around early in the Keys), clouds will build, highs will reach the muggy low to mid 90s, and afternoon storms will develop, but not as many as on Tuesday. Periods of heavy rain are likely in some locations, and localized flooding is possible in spots already saturated by Tuesday’s rains.

More storms are in the forecast for Thursday and Friday, along with highs in the low 90s. We’ll see a shift to easterly winds over the weekend, and some afternoon storms will develop on the sea breeze.

Highs on Saturday and Sunday will be in the low 90s.
