Sounds Like A Summer Forecast, HOT With Showers And Storms

hot

South Florida will be hot on Saturday, and some early showers and afternoon storms are in the forecast as a front moves through. After lingering morning showers, we’ll see hot sun, highs in the upper 80s, a risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches, and developing afternoon storms in spots, especially inland.

The Lyrid meteor shower continues each evening through early next week.

Drier air will be in place on Sunday, so look for sun, clouds, and highs in the low to mid 80s.

Monday begins a period of tranquil weather, with sun, clouds, maybe a quick shower on a light ocean breeze, and highs in the low to mid 80s — conditions that will last through midweek.
