South Florida will see sizzling heat on Thursday before some storms move in along with a front. After some early patchy fog in spots, Thursday features a mix of sun and clouds on a muggy day. Clouds will build and some storms pass through during the afternoon and evening. The front should begin to lose its punch while still to our north, so storms that come into our area should be below severe levels. Highs on Thursday will be near 90 degrees, and some of the western suburbs could be even hotter. Then the front clears the area overnight, and Friday morning lows will be mostly in the low 60s. Friday will also bring gradually clearing skies and a strong, cool breeze. Friday’s highs will be in the upper 70s. As dry air moves in, conditions will be favorable for brush fires through the weekend. Saturday will be another cool day, with morning lows in the 50s and afternoon highs in the mid to upper 70s. We’ll see plenty of sun and a few clouds on a strong breeze. Sunday will feature lots of sun with a few clouds around. Highs on Sunday will be in the upper 70s. Look for ocean breezes to kick in on Monday, and the day will bring a mix of sun and clouds. Monday’s highs will be near 80 degrees.
