showersOcean breezes on Wednesday and for the next few days will concentrate the showers and storms in the metro areas of Miami-Dade and Broward, along with the Keys, but a few afternoon storms could pop up in the Naples area as well. Wednesday’s highs will be in the low 90s.

Faith Based Events

Rain chances go down a bit on Thursday, with early showers along the east coast and the Keys, followed by isolated afternoon storms throughout the region. Highs will be in the low 90s.

The pattern is similar on Friday, with early showers mostly in the Keys and along the east coast, and a few afternoon storms scattered throughout South Florida. Highs will be in the low 90s on Friday.

Saturday will see highs in the low 90s, an ocean breeze that will increase the risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches, and a few afternoon storms, especially inland.

In the tropics, the area of disorganized showers and storms east of the Bahamas has a low chance of developing over the next 5 days as it moves to the north.

The system off Florida’s northeast Gulf coast is not expected to develop, but it continues to dump more rain from the Big Bend to just north of Tampa Bay, an area which is under a flood watch for up to 15 inches of rain.
