
South Florida will see more showers, storms here on Wednesday. Morning showers and storms are again in moving in on the breeze in Miami-Dade, Broward, and the Keys, and some of the early storms will hold together and reach the Gulf coast. Wednesday’s highs will be mostly in the low 90s, and a few afternoon storms will fire up in the far western suburbs of Miami-Dade and Broward, the interior regions, and along the Gulf coast.
Thursday will start off with some early showers and storms, followed by hot sun and clouds, highs in the low 90s, and a few afternoon storms popping up, mostly in the Naples and Marco Island areas and the interior portions of South Florida.
Look for an east coast shower or two on Friday morning, followed by sun and clouds, highs in the low 90s, and a few scattered afternoon storms, mostly along the Gulf coast and in the interior.
Saturday will see sun and clouds to start, highs in the low 90s, and a few afternoon storms well inland from both the east and Gulf coasts.
In the tropics, Tropical Depression # 6 has formed in the eastern Atlantic. At 5 am Wednesday, TD # 6 was located near 13.2 North, 35.2 West, and was moving northwest at 15 miles per hour. Maximum sustained winds were 35 miles per hour, and this system is forecast to become a tropical storm within a day or so. It is expected to stay in the central Atlantic.
