Showers And Storms Continue Thanks To Tropical Moisture

It’s a showery and stormy Sunday in South Florida, thanks to a consistent supply of tropical moisture. After some overnight showers, Sunday features lots of clouds, humid conditions, morning showers, and storms developing during the afternoon and early evening. Highs on Sunday will reach the mid 80s.

 

storms continueWe won’t escape the cloudy skies and precipitation on Monday. Look for early showers, plenty of clouds, and some afternoon storms. Monday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 80s.

 

Faith Based Events

 

Showers and clouds are back on Tuesday, with a storm in spots as well. Highs on Tuesday will be in the upper 80s.

Showers will move in on the breeze on Wednesday, and skies will be cloudy once again. Wednesday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

We’ll see more passing showers overnight, and then Thursday will feature more showers on the breeze. A storm could pop up in spots. Highs on Thursday will be in the upper 80s again.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
