Showers Blow Through Today, Possible Storms Monday

Blow ThroughSouth Florida will see showers blow through today. After some early morning showers, especially in Miami-Dade and the Upper Keys, Sunday features lots of clouds, more showers during the afternoon and evening, and an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches (which will last until midweek). Highs on Sunday will be in the low 80s.

Blow ThroughMore showers will develop on Monday, and we could see some storms move in from the west. Look for mostly cloudy skies on Monday. Monday’s highs will be in the low 80s.

A strong front moves into the area on Tuesday, and skies will clear after it passes late in the day. Tuesday’s highs will be in the low 80s.

Look for cooler temperatures and drier air on Wednesday, along with good sun and a few clouds. Wednesday’s highs will top out in the mid 70s.

Faith Based Events

Thursday morning will be chilly for mid-March, with lows in the 50s. The day will feature lots of sun and a few clouds. but highs will only reach the mid 70s.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
