Red tide still plagues the Gulf coast beaches on Thursday. Highs on Thursday will be near 90 degrees.
Friday will bring showers and storms, with the highest concentration in the Gulf coast and the interior. Friday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.
Look for fewer showers and storms on Saturday as we return to mostly afternoon (and more isolated) activity. Saturday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Sunday will feature sun, clouds, and a few afternoon showers and storms. Sunday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Monday’s forecast includes some sun, clouds, and periods of showers and storms. Highs on Monday will be near 90 degrees.
In the tropics, a wave emerging from the African coast has a low chance of developing into a tropical depression during the next few days. But conditions will be more favorable once it reaches the central Atlantic, so we’ll watch it. And in the Pacific, most of Hawaii is under a hurricane warning as category 4 Hurricane Lane approaches.
