Several browsers block “Adobe Flash” over security flaws

By Mark Young, SouthFloridaReporter.com Managing Editor, July 15, 2015 – In the past few days you may have read or heard about a computer program named “Adobe Flash.”  “Flash” is a browser plug-in for playing web video and animations on PCs and Macs. It was reported that Hacking Team, the recently breached surveillance software maker, discovered several critical vulnerabilities that allows hackers to infect your computer.

Mozilla Firefox, Google and Facebook immediately put temporary blocks to prevent you from running “Flash” on their systems.

According to PC World, Adobe has sent out an updated version (18.0.0.209) of Flash that reportedly fixes the problem and Firefox is not blocking this version.
