Early rain and then falling temperatures during the afternoon and evening are in the forecast for South Florida on Sunday.  The day starts with showers and storms as a strong front moves in.  Then skies will clear on a breezy afternoon.  A high risk of dangerous rip currents is in place at the Gulf beaches.  Highs on Sunday will be in the low 70s — but that will be in the morning.  Look for temperatures in the 60s during the afternoon hours.

Monday morning lows will be in the 40s.  Monday will be sunny and breezy for Martin Luther King Day.  Monday’s highs will be in the upper 60s.

Tuesday morning lows will be in the upper 50s to low 60s, and the day will feature a mix of sun and clouds on the breeze.  Tuesday’s highs will be in the mid 70s.

Look for sun, clouds, and a few east coast showers on Wednesday.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the upper 70s.

Clouds and showers are in the forecast for Thursday as another front approaches.  Highs on Thursday will be in the upper 70s.
