Roger Stone, a Donald Trump confidant who reportedly had discussions with Russian hackers during last year’s campaign, has hired three local lawyers and asked to appear before the House Intelligence Committee.

A famed political figure who has been involved in campaign strategy and so-called “dirty tricks” since President Richard Nixon’s candidacy, Stone was the subject of questions during a committee hearing earlier this week.
