Plenty of Sun and a Few Showers in Spots

Saturday features a gusty breeze and good sun with a few clouds in the morning in the East Coast metro area, but look for some showers to move in during the afternoon.  The Gulf Coast will see lots of sun, while the Keys will see a mix of sun and clouds with maybe a stray shower.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches.  Highs on Saturday will be in the mid-80s.

Sunday will bring clouds, showers, and a few early storms to the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast will see a mix of sun, clouds, and showers.  Look for good sun with a few clouds and showers in the Keys.  Sunday’s highs will be in the mid-80s.

Monday will feature some sun but more clouds, showers, and even some storms on the mainland.  The Keys will be mostly sunny with the chance of a few showers.  Monday’s highs will be in the mid-80s.

Tuesday will be a sunny day around South Florida. The highs will be in the mid-80s again.

Faith Based Events

Wednesday’s forecast calls for sunny skies on the mainland and a nice mix of sun and clouds in the Keys.  Highs on Wednesday will be mostly in the mid-80s.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
