Monday features a cool start, followed by plenty of sun and a few clouds in the East Coast metro area and sunny skies along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.  Expect a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches on Monday that will last through most of the week.  Highs on Monday will be mostly in the upper-70s, with a few inland locations reaching the low-80s.

Tuesday will bring morning lows in the 60s.  Look for lots of sun along the Gulf Coast and a mix of sun, clouds, and a few showers in the East Coast metro area.  The Keys will see mostly sunny skies.  Tuesday’s highs will be in the upper-70s in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and the low-80s along the Gulf Coast.

Wednesday will feature more clouds than sun and a gusty breeze in the East Coast metro area and a nice mix of sun and clouds along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.  Wednesday’s highs will be mostly in the low-80s in the East Coast metro area and near 80 degrees along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Thursday morning will see a few early showers and maybe a storm on the mainland as a front approaches.  The day will be sunny with a building breeze.  Thursday’s highs will be mostly in the upper-70s in the East Coast metro area and the mid-70s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Faith Based Events

Friday’s forecast calls for a chilly morning, with lows in the 50s on the mainland.  Then look for sunny skies around South Florida.  Highs on Friday will be in the upper-70s in the East Coast metro area and mostly in the mid-70s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
