By SouthFloridaReporter.com, Oct. 9, 2015 – Union Planters Plaza welcomes families to celebrate fall in its community green space during its annual Plazapalooza Fallfest on Saturday, October 10 from 2-8 p.m. , 2372 N. Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. Activities include a mini pumpkin patch, hay rides and live performances for all ages with proceeds benefiting Jack & Jill Children’s Center in Fort Lauderdale.
The newest restaurant at the center, Buenos Aires Cafe, will barbeque meats outside on an Argentinian grill and offer a portion of its sales to Jack & Jill. Piola, an international pizza franchise owned by a local couple, will serve a free kid’s meal with the purchase of an adult meal. Chill-N will hand out samples of its creamy, nitrogen made-to-order ice cream, and The Babysitting Club will get into the spirit of Halloweenwith a children’s face-painting station.
Live entertainment will feature singer Jimmy Barkan who also owns Barkan Method Hot Yoga at Union Planters Plaza and Buenos Aires tango dancers. The event will also include a raffle with prizes donated from several of the shopping center’s retailers. All raffle proceeds will be donated to benefit the families of Jack & Jill Children’s Center.

Plazapalooza Fallfest is sponsored in part by several of the retailers at Union Planters Plaza including Bamboo Wellness, Buenos Aires Cafe, Chill-N, European Wax Center, GBS The Beauty Store, Piola, Pure Barre, and Stash Boutique, all of whom will have booths at the festival showcasing their products and services to the community.
