Periods Of Rain Today

Showers and storms will be around South Florida on Friday.  The day features periods of rain, starting in the late morning along the east coast and shifting to the Gulf coast in the afternoon.  Highs on Friday will be in the low 90s.
The weekend will be on the wet side, with passing showers and storms throughout our area on Saturday.  Saturday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.
Look for showers overnight, lasting into early morning on Sunday.  Sunday will be another day of passing showers, storms, and clouds.  Sunday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.
Monday will bring some sun, clouds, and passing showers and storms.  Monday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Tuesday will feature early east coast showers, and morning sun and clouds.  Then the usual rainy season showers and storms will develop along the sea breezes.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the low 90s.,
The tropical Atlantic remains quiet.

She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons.
