That must’ve been a hell of a wedding at the Flagler Museum!
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Louis Murphy, 29, had to be rescued from Palm Beach’s Flagler Museum over the weekend after he fell asleep during a wedding reception and woke up alone, and trapped, in the town’s main tourist attraction.
Murphy, a former Florida Gators standout born in St. Petersburg, caused $1,000 in damages trying to get out.
But when he finally figured out he couldn’t, he called 911 for help, according to the Palm Beach Police report.
Murphy told police he felt trapped in the museum’s courtyard and became anxious when he broke a small window on on one of the doors about 1 a.m.
Murphy admitted to having a few drinks at the feast when he felt the need to nap. He slipped into the quiet courtyard and fell asleep on the steps.
