By Mark Young, SouthFloridaReporter.com Managing Editor, Oct. 18, 2015 – Back in February New York’s Governor Cuomo signed a law raising the minimum wage for servers and bartenders to $7.50 an hour – up from $4.90.
In many countries the servers are paid a living wage which includes benefits. In Japan, tipping isn’t allowed and is considered an insult.
The trend in the US is beginning to change to a “no tipping” rule.
Joey Reynolds was in NYC recently and asked about the no tipping change.
