No Weather Surprise – Hot With Afternoon Storms

Surprise
South Florida will be hot with afternoon storms on Thursday — no surprise for late June.  The day features a mix of sun and clouds to start, followed by showers and storms forming as the sea breezes push inland during the afternoon and early evening.  Highs on Thursday will be in the low 90s.
Friday will start with a few early showers, followed by sun, clouds, and additional showers and storms in the afternoon.  Friday’s highs will be in the low 90s.  Saharan dust will seep in late on Friday and linger into Monday.
Look for hazy sun, a few clouds, and a few mostly inland storms on Saturday.  Saturday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Sunday will be hot and hazy, with an isolated, mostly inland, afternoon storm possible.  Sunday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Monday will feature hot sun, some clouds, and a few showers and storms as the dust that’s been drying us out moves by.  Highs on Monday will be in the low 90s.
The area of showers off the Carolina coast shows no signs of development, and the rest of the tropical Atlantic is quiet right now.
