Neil Goldberg Bringing A Star-Studded Cast To “WE”

BROWARD COUNTY, FL —  Broward County is abuzz with excitement in anticipation of Broadway director, Neil Goldberg’s theatrical extravaganza, “WE,” created especially for Broward County’s centennial celebration on Saturday, October 3rd at 8PM, at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

After months of auditions, workshops, rehearsals and celebrity collaborations, the cast of “WE” has come together.  Over 100 of the most talented local artists and performers have been cast to perform in “WE”along with Broadway legend and recording powerhouse, Linda Eder and Grammy award-winning international superstar, Jon Secada.

As if it couldn’t get any better, Goldberg has now rounded out the cast and announced that four of America’s most popular entertainment sensations will also be appearing in this theatrical stage extravaganza that celebrates Broward’s 100 year journey.  This lineup of talent and artistry will perform in the once in a lifetime Broadway-style theatrical experience “WE.”

Joining the illustrious roster with performances in “WE” are, “So You Think You Can Dance” Winner Eliana Girard, Singer, songwriter and breakout star from “The Voice,” Sisaundra Lewis, “X Factor” singing sensation, Lillie McCloud and International YouTube Hip-Hop Dance Phenomenon Marquese Scott.

“There are so many aspects of Broward County that will be highlighted in this uniquely entertaining production and brought to life on stage with local, modern and relevant celebrity talent of all types.  This truly will be a memorable night of theatre and celebration of Broward at its best,” Goldberg said.

Goldberg, recently announced that at the conclusion of the “WE” performance, audiences in the theater will vote for their favorite local performer who will win a $10,000 cash prize sponsored by the Neil Goldberg Dream Foundation. Additionally, the Foundation will award each of the five runners up with $1,000 cash prizes.

Ticket prices range from $25 – $85, not including service or handling charges, and are available through Ticketmaster, online at BrowardCenter.org, in person at Broward Center’s AutoNation Box Office or by calling 954 462-0222. VIP Dinner and Ticket packages are $160 and include front orchestra seating and pre-show dinner in the Mary N. Porter Ballroom from 7-7:45PM.

“WE” is presented by Broward 100 as part of the grand finale, Duende. In the spirit of celebrating creativity,Duende will bring together Broward County’s diverse talent and people in a countywide finale. Thousands of people will celebrate Duende with Broward County’s 100th birthday through a mosaic of art, culture and entertainment.
