Near Record Heat Today

By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Nov. 3, 2015 – It’s not feeling like fall in South Florida, as near record heat is in the forecast for Tuesday. After a few early showers and a muggy morning, look for hot sun, a few clouds, a few quick showers in spots, and highs in the sticky upper 80s — possibly reaching Miami’s record of 89.

Wednesday will bring plenty of showers on the breeze in the wake of a weak tropical wave, and the risk of dangerous rip currents will increase. Highs will be in the sticky mid to upper 80s.

Showers will taper off on Thursday and Friday but the ocean breeze will remain. Highs will be in the unseasonable mid to upper 80s. A few more showers are possible this weekend, and temperatures will remain warm for early November.
