Near Record Heat Isn’t an April Fool’s Joke

record heat

South Florida will see near record heat on Friday — and it isn’t an April Fool’s joke. A warm morning will turn into an afternoon with highs in the upper 80s, with some inland locations possibly hitting the 90 degree mark. An isolated storm is possible, especially inland.

Saturday will be another scorcher, with highs near 90 degrees, and some afternoon storms are possible.

Sunday will be on the humid and stormy side, with highs in the mid 80s and plenty of showers and storms moving through with a front.

A few showers could linger Monday morning, but the big story will be a return to more seasonable temperatures. Highs on Monday and Tuesday will be in the upper 70s.
