Retired NBA star Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway, the former Orlando Magic sidekick of Shaquille O’Neal who retired from the Miami Heat in 2008, has just listed his Pinecrest mansion for $3.799 million, according to Realtor.
As befits a four-time NBA All-Star, the 8,639-square-foot Mediterranean estate at 5940 SW 108th St., has a basketball court and a gym. It also has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a gourmet chef’s kitchen and coffered ceilings.
And you know Penny’s tall enough to really enjoy them!
Penny, whose superstar career trajectory with the Magic stalled after a number of injuries and Shaq famously leaving for Los Angeles, was finally inducted into the Orlando Magic Hall of Fame earlier this year.
Now it looks like Penny’s ready to close another chapter and leave the house he purchased in 2009 for $3.665 million.
Listing agents Hazel and Evan Goldman say Hardaway’s going back home to Memphis.
Olympic gold medalist Lil’ Penny played his final season with the Miami Heat in 2008.
