By Yohana Desta, Mashable.com, SouthFloridaReporter.com – Oct. 11, 2015 – Chris Hadfield will not rest until he is cooler than us all.
The social-media-savvy astronaut just released an album, titled Space Sessions: Songs From a Tin Can, which he recorded entirely from outer space. Hadfield hopes the record will help people “feel a little bit more what it’s like to live on a spaceship,” he tells Canada AM.
Proceeds from sales will go toward music education in Canada.
The album features 11 original songs, with delightfully far out titles like “Space Lullaby” and “Beyond the Terra.” There’s also David Bowie’s “Space Oddity,” which Hadfield famously covered in 2013.
