By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Dec. 7, 2015 – South Florida won’t get a break from the rain on Monday, as showers and even a quick storm or two return. Look for soggy commutes, especially in Miami-Dade, as moisture from the stalled out front just south of the Keys streams into our area on Monday.
While rain totals won’t be as high as on Friday and Saturday, saturated ground could lead to some localized flooding. Lots of clouds will keep afternoon highs near the 80s degree mark. The risk of dangerous rip currents will be high for those who venture to the beaches on a rainy day.
Showers will linger overnight and into Tuesday, but periods of sun will allow temperatures to reach the low 80s.
Wednesday and Thursday will bring a break from the rainy stretch, but we can’t rule out a quick shower in spots. Highs will be in the low 80s both days.
A few more showers could pop up on Friday and Saturday, and highs will again be in the low 80s.
