“Lovely” Sun With a Few Showers

Valentine’s Day features some early fog in western portions of South Florida.  Then look for plenty of sun, some clouds at times, and a few showers in spots.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches.  Highs on Friday will be in the low-80s.

Saturday will bring a seasonably warm morning, followed by sunny skies on the mainland and good sun with a few clouds in the Keys.  Saturday’s highs will be in the low-80s.

Sunday will feature good sun and a few clouds on a gusty breeze as a front moves in.  The Gulf Coast will also see a few afternoon showers in spots.  Sunday’s highs will be mostly in the mid-80s in the East Coast metro area and near 80 degrees along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Presidents’ Day will see more sun than clouds in the East Coast metro area and mostly sunny skies along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.  Monday’s highs will be in the upper-70s.

Faith Based Events

Tuesday’s forecast calls for a bit of sun and plenty of clouds.  Look for some showers in the East Coast metro area and the Keys.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the upper-70s.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
