Saturday features a cool start, followed by lots of sun with maybe a cloud or two at times.  Highs on Saturday will be mostly in the low-80s in the East Coast metro area and in the mid-70s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.

Sunday will bring morning lows in the upper-50s to low-60s on the mainland.  Then, look for another sunny day around South Florida.  Sunday’s highs will be near 80 degrees in the East Coast metro area, in the upper-70s along the Gulf coast, and the mid-70s in the Keys.

Monday will feature another cool morning, with lows in the mid-50s to low-60s on the mainland.  Then we’ll see lots of sun with a cloud or two in spots.  Monday’s highs will be in the upper-70s in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and near 80 degrees along the Gulf Coast.

Tuesday will start with morning lows in the 60s.  Then, look for mostly sunny skies in the East Coast metro area, while the Gulf Coast and the Keys will see lots of sun.  Tuesday’s highs will be in the upper-70s in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and near 80 degrees along the Gulf Coast.

Faith Based Events

Wednesday’s forecast calls for more clouds than sun in the East Coast metro area, while the Gulf Coast and the Keys will see a nice mix of sun and clouds.  Highs on Wednesday will be mostly in the low-80s on the mainland, with a few inland locations reaching the mid-80s.  Highs in the Keys will be in the upper-70s.

Donna Thomas has studied hurricanes for two decades. She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
