Lots of Sun But Still Cool

After a chilly morning with lows in the 50s, Wednesday features plenty of sun and a few east coast clouds at times.  A moderate risk of dangerous rip currents continues at the beaches of Palm Beach County and along the Gulf coast.  Highs on Wednesday will be in the mid 70s

Thursday will be off to another cool start, and then we’ll see a lot of sun once again.  Thursday’s highs will be in the mid 70s.

Friday will feature plenty of sun along the east and good sun with a few clouds to the west.  Friday’s highs will be in the upper 70s.

Faith Based Events

Look for sunny skies around South Florida on Saturday.  Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 70s.

The Gulf coast will see a mix of sun and clouds on Sunday, while sunny skies will prevail in the east coast metro area.  Highs on Sunday will be near 80 degrees.

Donna Thomas has studied hurricanes for two decades. She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
