Lots Of Clouds With Some Showers As Front Creeps Through

front creepsSouth Florida’s skies will be full of clouds and some showers on Wednesday as a weakening front creeps through our area. After overnight showers and some early fog in spots, Wednesday features plenty of clouds and some showers at times. We’ll also see an increasing risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches late in the day and through the rest of the week. Highs on Wednesday will be mostly in the mid 70s.

front creepsThursday will bring a bit more sun to go along with the clouds. Thursday’s highs will be in the low to mid 70s.

Friday will be windy, with some gusty showers, clouds, and a bit of sun. A high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches will last from Friday into the weekend. Friday’s highs will be mostly in the mid 70s.

Saturday will be on the breezy side, with clouds, sun, and a few showers. Saturday’s highs will be in the mid 70s.

Faith Based Events

Look for clouds and a bit of sun most of the day on Sunday, but showers and storms will move in with another front late in the day and during the evening. Highs on Sunday will make it into the upper 70s.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
