Lingering Showers, Possible Storms; 2 Broward Tornadoes (Video)

lingering

South Florida will deal with lingering showers and a few storms on Wednesday. But it won’t be as hot, and we’re much less likely to see a repeat of the severe weather that hit parts of Miami-Dade and Broward Tuesday afternoon.  Wednesday will feature sun and clouds with periods of showers and the chance of a storm or two in spots. Highs on Wednesday will be in the mid 80s.

Two tornadoes touched down in east central Broward County this afternoon as showers and thunderstorms interacted with the east coast sea breeze that was pinned east of the Interstate 95 corridor. Both were rated EF-0, meaning winds reached 65 MPH. Luckily no one was injured in either one. Following is a report from WPLG Local 10 news in Miami Tuesday.

Thursday will bring a few early east coast showers, along with morning lows ranging from the mid 60s to the low 70s. Then the day will feature good sun and some clouds on a brisk breeze. A passing shower isn’t out of the question, though. Thursday’s highs will be in the low to mid 80s.

Faith Based Events

Friday will be another breezy day with plenty of sun and a few clouds. Friday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.

Saturday will begin another hot weekend, with a day of sun, clouds, and a few showers. Saturday’s highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.

Sunday will be sizzling, with sun, clouds, and some late showers and storms as a front approaches. Highs on Sunday will be mostly in the upper 80s.
