By Jose Lambiet, GossipExtra.com, Special to the SouthFloridaReporter, June 5, 2015 – MIAMI — It’s only fitting that at a time when LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers are busy trying to win the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors, James is severing his last tie to Miami!
The big news in luxury real estate tonight is that James finally sold his Coconut Grove home, his base during his four glorious years with the Miami Heat.
The sale is pending, meaning that James accepted an offer and a purchase contract has been signed.
And we’re told by a source in the luxury market that King James got close to his $15 million asking price when he signed the contract June 1.
The listing was quietly pulled off the website of Opulence International Realty over the weekend. Tomi Rose, the Realtor who’s got LeBron’s house, isn’t returning calls.
We don’t know who the buyer is, but stay tuned. We’re always first!
The two-time NBA champ with the Miami Heat officially listed the six-bedroom house for sale after he left South Florida for good a year ago, according to real estate records.

James wanted $17 million, but the price for 3590 Crystal View Court was reduced earlier this year when it became apparent it was overpriced.
