More often than not, I mistake thirst for hunger. I know I’m bad about drinking enough water and as an athlete who logs 3-4 lifts per week, I know I shouldn’t be.
The benefits of drinking water are endless. Off the top of my head, I know water keeps me full, promotes a sense of well-being, and flushes out lactic acid build-up so my muscles can recover faster. But given these benefits, I’m still bad about drinking enough water!
As a huge self-improvement advocate and goal-setter, I’ve decided that I will get in the habit of upping my water intake. I know it takes 21 days to make or break a habit and my plan is to take advantage of all the resources available to me in order to crush this goal of mine.
I know I’ve got two fancy Bevi machines at the office that give me flavored sparkling and still water for free. Instead of spending the $3.00+ on a 1 Liter bottle of Glaceau SmartWater every day, I should get myself a sleek and pretty water bottle to tote around.
After scouring the Internet and looking at all the sleek and modern water bottles, I finally decided on Kool8’s stainless steel vacuum sealed water bottle in yellow-green. I was intrigued because it had all the features that I wanted packaged in a sleek and modern design.
According to their website, the double insulated construction keeps drinks warm for up to 12 hours and cool for up to 24 hours. In addition, Kool 8 has a socially conscious value prop that I just could not ignore 一 20% of all their profits goes towards hydrating underprivileged regions around the world. Like oh man, where do I sign?!
Growing up in the US, I’m blessed with an abundance of fresh drinking water but in many parts of the world, it’s a scarcity. Not to mention the billions of tons of plastic that don’t get recycled or worse yet, sits in our landfills and pollutes our oceans for eternity.
My water bottle already pays it forward the moment I purchase it.
Right off the bat, I was impressed with the look and feel of this water bottle 一 seamless construction that felt lightweight but not flimsy.
One of the best things about elevated hypertrophy is the volume. If you’re not beat and your brain isn’t fried by the time you’re done, you’re not doing it right. Perhaps the best part of finishing up a big lift is
running into one of your gym buddies and taking a refreshing sip before taking off.
It’s not hoarding if your stuff is cool. #ineedallthis
I think the biggest piece of feedback I have for Kool8 is knowing whether or not this water bottle is dishwasher safe. This information is not indicated on their
website and the product information on it’s the original packaging is written in Chinese.
Overall, I must give props to Kool8. You’ve successfully crammed a fabulously socially conscious value prop, good construction, and functionality into a sleek and modern design. Just let us know whether this awesome water bottle of your’s is dishwasher safe and I’d give you a perfect 10.
