Guben, a leading South Florida Vascular & Interventional Radiologist, was recently awarded the Distinguished Physician Award from Broward Health Medical Center. The award was presented by Dr. Louis R. Yogel, Broward Health Chief of Staff in front of the Broward Health Board of Commissioners.
The Distinguished Physician Award is a Broward Health initiative by new CEO Nabil El Sanadi, MD. The award honors Broward Health Network physicians who have achieved distinction among peers for exceptional patient care, exhibited great leadership, and advanced medical innovations and procedures.
“With his strong leadership, Dr. Guben has put together an outstanding team of Interventional Radiologists who, along with him, have kept Broward Health on the cutting edge of medical technology,” said Dr. David H. Ring, President of North Broward Radiologists, P.A.

Dr. Guben joins Dr. Joel Erickson, Vascular and Interventional Radiologist, as the second physician with North Broward Radiologists to receive the Distinguished Physician Award in the last nine months.

Dr. Guben has been with North Broward Radiologists PA for over 25 years. He is the Medical Director of the Broward Health Medical Center Radiology Department and the Chief of Interventional Radiology for North Broward Radiologists. He specializes in vascular and interventional radiology and has many published works relating to the field. Dr. Guben is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, The Society of Interventional Radiologists, The Society of Breast Imaging, and The Society of Emergency Radiology.
