Apparently, America suffered one too many avocado-related injuries, because someone felt the need to create an avocado stick. And while it may seem like a genius invention—it does make avo toast prep much easier—it’s also kind of weird. Especially given the fact that it resembles deodorant.
The Unnecessary Inventions Facebook page, which boasts similar innovations such as a treadmill for your fingers, a cuisine curtain, and a 100 foot phone charger, created Avocado On A Stick. “Every millennial loves avocado toast,” the caption reads. “Now make your favorite snack faster than ever at home or on the go…on a stick!” Naturally, it sparked controversy.
“I love avocado however this is repulsive,” one user wrote. “If only Mother Nature gave avocado it’s own packaging. Oh wait she does and it takes like five seconds to open it this takes laziness to another level,” another chimed in.
