Like he has done since he became a Palm Beach homeowner nearly three years ago, radio jock Howard Stern is planning to spend the end-of-year break in his $52 million-beachfront property.
Chances are, however, he’s not going to be out and about much: According to real estate records, the Sirius radio personality just got himself a brand new state-of-the-art indoor spa.
Set him back $500,000, according to a source close to the contractor. Must be gold-plated!
And, after all, records show the existing spa was way old, installed in 1992.
The 62-year-old Stern hasn’t stopped spending money on the already-perfect crib at 601 North County Road, a rock pile he bought in 2014 for a whopping $52 million.
At first, with wife Beth whining about the lack of closet space, Stern spent $10 million to set her up with 1,000-square-foot place for her clothes. A contractor at the time told us the new closet caused a domino effect in the house with rooms getting altered on both floors, and the hefty cost.
